Well it wasn’t a white christmas but I am sure everyone had much to cheer about. Wether you were eating roast turkey, roast pork, roast chicken, roast lamb or an unfortunate vegetarian (oj), we can be thankful that we are all eating well this christmas. The team are busy this time of year serving up hog roasts in places such as Blackburn, Leeds, Preston, Manchester and other villages in and around the Northwest. There is something magical about cooking pigs slowly in the cold weather. The magic always seems to strike when the hog roast machine doors are pulled open and there is a big blast of steam in the air and the sweet pork aroma’s fill the air with a punch of anticipation. One of the joys of catering is to see the faces of our guests fill up with excitement as you carefully remove the bubbling hot, crispy crackling from the pigs body. At this point you will always get a cheeky opportunist request for a nibble of crackling before service starts. And there is no better way to gain love from your customers then then appeasing them with a piece right off the pigs back. This makes people very happy. If we could fill all your stockings with crackling on Christmas morning we would. Im damn sure that would be a great addition to the festive tradition. Merry Christmas
